ROMAN SHADES

Roman Shades are varied in their appearance and can appear soft and traditional or structured and contemporary. Often times only slightly larger than the size of the window they are addressing, roman shades draw up towards the top. Unlike normal adjustable horizontal style blinds, roman shades do not offer the ability to control the amount of light entering a space while also controlling privacy. What they do offer, however, is a way to soften the look of a space through the incorporation of fabric. Although more tailored than their fuller cousin, the balloon shade, roman shades manage to seamlessly blend into the most feminine rooms or in spaces exemplified by traditional lines.
