CORNICES

Cornices are generally constructed from fabric-covered or otherwise finished wood, M.D.F. or another material capable of supporting its own weight. In general, cornices are designed to provide a more traditionally polished and formal look to window treatments by hiding the hardware associated with hanging panels, roman blinds, balloon shades or sheers.
