Considered by many to be the lowest sheen acceptable in wet applications, a semi-gloss paint finish offers the minimum durability necessary when moisture is in the immediate area. Unlike a high-gloss finish, however, a semi-gloss finish is slightly more forgiving in underscoring inherent wall imperfections.
