BED LINENS and TOWELS

Bed linens and towels
range vastly in both quality and price, and are critical components that contribute to both the overall appearance and usefulness of the room that you are choosing these items for. Although the vast majority of the sheets and towels chosen are primarily cotton in composition, other alternatives exist including both natural and synthetic materials. When making a choice, make sure to understand both thread count and the nature of the cotton fiber your sheets and towels are made of.  Egyptian cotton, for example, is often touted for its soft feel and longer fibers, but is translated into products that range widely in thread count. Bed skirts, duvets and coverlets are often items that are subject to less abuse and are therefore available in more delicate fabrics or with added embroidery, beading or hand-work. When working with a budget, keep in mind that one great piece, such as an embroidered pillow or woven wool coverlet, can often establish the tone for the whole bed.
