FLUORESCENT

Fluorescent is the most economical lamping and fixture type available and can be found in an expanded variety of colors. Most often found in utilitarian settings such as the kitchen, garage and storage areas, fluorescent lights are efficient, dissipating less heat than both incandescent and halogen lighting. Although there exists many economical advantages associated with their employment, fluorescent fixtures can offer an unattractive quality of light and should be limited in use to areas where time is spent minimally.
