CEILING MOUNTED FIXTURES

Ceiling mounted fixtures often have a more subdued presence in a room, hugging the ceiling with some form of glass globe or covering. Ceiling mounted fixtures may often be the only possibility when room heights are low or paths of travel must be accommodated. As is the case with pendant fixtures, if there is visible metal involved, its often helpful to coordinate the metal color and tone with other metals being employed throughout the designed space. Although most ceiling mounted fixtures are built to accommodate incandescent lighting, a greater variety are now available utilizing the clearer quality of light offered by halogen bulbs.
